Hello--thoroughly enjoyed your talk at the Supercon! At some point during your Q&A I mentioned a few resources that might be helpful for learning more about dynamic quadrupedal motion; it's not a subject I know much of anything about, but these folks/projects might be able to help with noodleFeet gait development:
#Robotics Chat isn't super active, but it's a good place to ask questions. Help us make it _more_ active!
@Radomir Dopieralski (who created the above mentioned project) has built a number of small quadrupedal robots; most of the ones I've seen use tiny 9g servos and are more spider-like and close to the ground than noodleFeet, but the 8-servo concept is somewhat similar to your actuation setup. Check the projects listed on his profile.
@Jefito is quite familiar with quadrupedal robot stuff, and could probably point you in a good direction for learning the basics of dynamic 4-legged motion.
The Robotics List (https://hackaday.io/list/2456-robotics) has a few dynamic gait robots on it--definitely worth checking out.
I haven't used #BowlerStudio: A robotics development platform, but it's definitely worth checking out as you improve your design--it can do stuff like motion simulation which seems like it could be quite relevant.
Also, @Kevin Harrington is probably a great resource to touch base with--he developed the above project along with #DyIO (Dynamic Input Output) controller, and generally has a high degree of familiarity with DIY robotics stuff.
Hope that helps a bit! Good luck!
